Delano Designs was established in 2020 by a visionary designer, Ryan Delano. With a background in real estate & a deep appreciation for the art of interior design, Ryan set out to create a firm that would blend creativity, craftsmanship, & superior customer service to redefine the concept of home renovations.
At Delano Designs, we begin our journey with you through an in-home design consultation. This initial meeting allows us to acquaint ourselves with you and your existing space, gaining a thorough understanding of your needs and vision for the project. Our priority is to listen attentively to your concerns, provide thoughtful feedback, and balance functionality with aesthetics. We delve into understanding your lifestyle, preferences, and requirements to ensure our design not only meets but exceeds your expectations.
Conceptual Design
The next step is the Design Agreement and Conceptual Plans. After our in-home consultation and upon signing the Design Agreement, our talented design team creates a scaled conceptual design for your new space. This phase includes layout ideas, detailed dimensions, space planning, and inspiration visuals to convey our creative vision. Alongside the design, we develop a comprehensive budget for each project component. As a luxury Design/Build firm, we address project costs from the outset, managing expectations and keeping designs realistic. We revisit your home to present the design and budget, helping you visualize the transformation within your existing space.
Refining and Revising
Following the conceptual design, we refine and revise the project to tailor it precisely to your needs. This stage may involve additional renderings, 3D models, or construction plans & drawings to finalize the vision. We also refine the project budget by selecting specific materials, finishes, and options. Our Designer guides you through this process, ensuring you understand your choices and associated costs. By working collaboratively through revisions, we finalize the design, scope, and budget, ensuring all your needs are met before implementation.

Delano Designs renovated my master bathroom after it needed to be completely redone (because old houses are gonna do old house things). They did everything from demo to subfloor repair, tilework, painting, and design of the whole space. The design is gorgeous! Ryan was receptive and helpful since I definitely didn't have concrete ideas on what I wanted to do. He came up with a beautiful design and we enjoy the space every day!
The final install contractors were problematic and caused a huge leak under the house by using the wrong parts and also installing other parts improperly. However, as soon as I discovered the issue a couple of months later, I let Ryan know and he sent guys out to fix the leak plus the resulting damage to the walls, floors, and crawl space at no charge to me. He has assured me that those guys were let go from the team, so no one else should have to deal with that going forward.
