Sandy Springs Residence

The Vernon Residence was thoughtfully transformed to create a more refined exterior, stronger architectural presence, and a seamless connection between the home and its outdoor living spaces. The renovation balanced essential improvements with carefully considered design details, giving the property a fresh identity while creating spaces the homeowners could enjoy year-round.

The exterior received a comprehensive refresh, including a new roof and soffit, updated siding, new paint, and shutters that add depth and character to the façade. New exterior lighting further enhances the architecture while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evening.

At the rear of the home, the outdoor living experience was completely reimagined. A new 500-square-foot porcelain paver patio creates a generous setting for entertaining, dining, and relaxing alongside the pool. The existing pool deck was refinished and the pool was relined, restoring the entire area and creating a more cohesive, polished backdrop for everyday outdoor living.

One of the most significant transformations was the conversion of the existing screened porch into a sunroom. By enclosing the space, the homeowners gained a comfortable, light-filled extension of the home that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons while maintaining a strong visual connection to the pool and backyard.

The surrounding landscape was refreshed with new flower beds and sod, softening the architecture and bringing a renewed sense of warmth to the property. Together, the improvements create an exterior that feels established yet updated—combining architectural character, comfortable living, and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces into a home that is equally suited for quiet moments and gathering with family and friends.
