The Embry Hills Residence was completely reimagined to create a more open, connected, and functional home while working within the character of the original structure.

The main level underwent a significant reconfiguration, opening the kitchen, dining room, and living areas into one continuous space with improved sightlines and circulation. The redesigned kitchen became the visual anchor of the home, establishing a warm modern-transitional palette that carries through the cabinetry, built-ins, bathrooms, and architectural details.

The primary bedroom was also reworked to create a more comfortable retreat, including a newly configured walk-in closet designed around better storage and everyday functionality. Updated bathrooms throughout the home continue the same material language, balancing natural textures, warm wood tones, refined tile, and brass accents.

The renovation extended well beyond the main level. The previously unfinished basement was transformed into valuable living space with two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a dedicated entertaining area complete with a bar and wine refrigerator. This new lower level significantly expands how the home can be used, creating space for guests, family, recreation, and gathering.

Hardworking areas were given equal consideration, with a fully designed laundry room and mudroom providing cabinetry, storage, and organization for daily life.

Behind the finished spaces, the home received a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade, including all-new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, along with new windows, exterior doors, skylights, and a new roof.
