The Chapel Grove Residence was conceived as a study in quiet luxury, with a focused renovation of the primary suite and living room that elevated both function and atmosphere.

In the primary bathroom, floor-to-ceiling polished Andover White tile creates a bright, expansive backdrop, while misty blue cabinetry adds softness and personality. Brushed gold fixtures introduce warmth, and Blue Forest hexagon marble in the shower brings depth and movement to the otherwise restrained palette. A frameless glass enclosure keeps the room visually open and allows the stone, tile, and metal finishes to remain the focal point.

The adjoining walk-in closet was more intentionally integrated into the suite through the addition of French doors, improving circulation and creating a more graceful connection between the spaces. Together, the bathroom and closet now function as a cohesive retreat designed around the homeowner’s daily routine.

In the living room, the fireplace was reimagined with dolomite and brass detailing, giving the existing focal point a cleaner, more contemporary presence. Soft Dover White walls complement the stone and help the room feel lighter, warmer, and more spacious.

Throughout the Chapel Grove Residence, the design balances polished stone, soft color, warm metals, and thoughtful architectural details. The result is a refined transformation that feels elegant without excess—proof that carefully considered changes can have a lasting impact on how a home looks, functions, and feels.

Within the primary bathroom, the goal was to create the atmosphere of a private retreat. Brushed gold fixtures and hardware bring warmth to the cooler palette, creating a subtle interplay between polished surfaces, natural stone, glass, and metal.

The shower became a focal point within the new composition. A frameless glass surround preserves the openness of the room and allows the material selections to remain fully visible, while gold hardware adds an understated layer of refinement. Blue Forest hexagon marble underfoot introduces movement and depth, connecting naturally with the blue cabinetry while giving the shower its own distinct character.

Function was considered just as carefully as the finishes. The relationship between the primary bathroom and walk-in closet was improved through cohesive tile floors and paint, creating a more graceful transition between the two spaces. What had previously functioned as separate areas now reads as a more intentional primary suite—one designed around the rhythm of getting ready, unwinding, and moving comfortably through the homeowner's daily routine.

Beyond the suite, the living room fireplace received its own carefully restrained transformation. Dolomite accented with brass reinterprets the fireplace as a cleaner, more contemporary focal point without overwhelming the room. Soft Dover White walls provide a warm neutral backdrop, allowing the natural variation of the stone and the subtle metallic detailing to take precedence while making the surrounding living space feel lighter and more expansive.

Throughout Chapel Grove, the design relies on balance rather than excess: cool blues against warm metals, polished stone against soft painted surfaces, and decorative moments balanced by practical improvements to flow. Each material was selected not simply for how it looks on its own, but for how it contributes to the feeling of the spaces as a whole.

The result is a home that demonstrates how meaningful transformation does not always require a complete reinvention. Through thoughtful detailing, improved functionality, and a carefully composed material palette, the Chapel Grove Residence feels calmer, more connected, and distinctly personal—a refined backdrop for the rituals of everyday life.
